BEEFCAKE are Dora and Nuch;  outsiders drawn together through a shared love of grotesque fairy tales and alternative fashion. 

Dora is a classically trained singer and songwriter crafting songs inspired by artifice and passion, drawing on everything from the artificial vocaloid singer Hatsune Miku, to the questing innovation of Bjork and Bowie, to the dark fantasy world of Donnie Darko. Nuch is a visual artist who constructs unsettling worlds where kawaii aesthetics are smashed into blood, guts and gore; cute and visceral, walking a line between funny and disturbing. 

Together the duo are creating a world to invite you into; a place that seesaws between the unsettling and the inviting, where flashes of colour could equally be cake icing or spurting blood, where love songs end in cannibalism, and where once you enter, you may choose to never leave
