Childhood have fully embraced the more soulful influences that had initiated their interest in music, ‘Universal High’ produced by Ben H. Allen III (Gnarls Barkley, Animal Collective, Deerhunter) revisits the seventies retro-soul influences whilst tapping into old school pop, a tribute to a pool of legends such as Curtis Mayfield and The Isley Brothers.
An explanatory introduction to the project is the first single ‘Californian Light’ accompanied by visuals on VEVO shot in the streets of Walworth where lead singer Ben Romans-Hopcraft grew up.
